Competent(?)/Competition(!)

In a bold move (for me) I chose these six images to submit to
a regional, museum-sponsored, competition for selection to a group exhibition to take place later this year.  The application required that I give them "titles" (!), provide their dimensions (!) , put them on a CD at 100 dpi (?) and label them in a digital code as jpg's from me.  Oh, and if I wanted, provide an artist's statement.  Much more exhausting than the actual painting process...one that depletes energy rather than cranks it!
If someone likes these that would be great.  I know that I do!

Studio Photo/C'est moi!

My oldest daughter says she's seen the expression here before; a serious, maybe a bit crabby sort of look? High School days rushing back to her?  Ah, but I like it, although I wish I'd been a bit more relaxed with the idea a someone having me move around my work space so I could be photographed in my "environment".  I was the volunteer subject of a Hallmark School of Photography student doing end of year graded, I assume, portraits.  Much more fun to be around than the photo might suggest.  That's what I think anyway!
